Citizens of Columbus are welcome to call the Mayor's Action Center (MAC) Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM at 614-645-2489, or click on the link Citizen Concern Form if you have any concerns regarding City Government services or related issues. The Center also receives suggestions on how to improve city government operations and welcomes compliments when meeting high standards. The Action Center consults with all city departments/divisions to insure accurate and timely responses for each caller. When necessary, the staff will send a suggestion or request for service to the appropriate department using a computerized system. Follow up responses are normally made by phone or letter to the citizen informing them of the response. Reports on these calls are sent to the Mayor, City Council and Department Directors on a weekly basis. The Center also provides current, local road construction information for the City of Columbus, Paving The Way Hotline, and serves as an information and referral source for non-city government questions and concerns. MAC depends on hardworking, dedicated and concerned citizens who volunteer their time and energy to help make Columbus a better place to live, work or visit. If you have previous office experience and a sincere desire to help people, please contact Marion at (614) 645-CITY (2489), Monday thru Friday, from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
